Farm Gate Cafe update

I received the email below from Lee at Farm Gate yesterday:

Good Afternoon Friends of the Farm Gate,
As you may or may not be aware The Farm Gate Cafe and Providore closed yesterday for a winter break but its not all bad news, during this time we will be working on some new ideas and menus for our reopening in early August as well as holding some workshops and special events that include Wessex Saddleback pork and cured meat sales and the 2008 Pig Out (Please see attachments below for detail).
Further to this we are available for onsite or offsite functions and catering during this time, if you require quotes or would like to make a booking please contact us on 0414074949 or at farmgatecafe@bigpond.com
Thank you all for your support over the past 8 months and we look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming events or at our reopening in August.

On offer for the day will be a range of products made from our free range rare breed Wessex Saddleback pork including bacon, ham, Lee’s garlic & sage sausages and fresh pork cuts. There will also be a range of other local products available.
We will also be serving Jess’ cakes, coffee, devonshire teas and a light lunch menu.

This class will cover the art of making green bacon, brine cured ham and prosciutto. Class notes and recipes will be provided. The class will be followed by a three course lunch and refreshments.
