Four of us dined about a month ago.
Decent steaks but the service was a bit on the speedy side.
We felt very rushed. The message I got was very "hurry up and order and eat as fast as you can so we can get some more people in".
We hadn't even finished our entree before our mains arrived.
In and out took about one hour.
Not keen on the salad bar either.
Won't be returning. just not for us really.
We went here for dinner a few weeks ago and things were going stupid fast.
3 days earlier, we ring and attempt to book, as we had a party of 8. Young angry guy on the phone told us "for a group that small we wont take bookings" .... right?
So we turn up and of course, all the tables are full. Guy standing near doorway told us we should have booked and that we should stand in the bar and drink until they have spare tables.
SHIT! Why deal with people and businesses like this?
Stuff them, we went across Salamanca and went to Barcelona, where the have resdtaurant food at pub prices. We ended up spending $450 for the 8 of us on food/drinks. Thats $450 revenue that Ball and Chain missed out on.
I have no idea why this place is so busy and popular, steaks were overcooked and dry, expenisve, why bother being a grill when you cant cook steaks properly.
