Maypole revisited

Dinner tonight was once again at the Maypole in New Town. I'm not going to go into a full blown description cos I've already been there, done that.

I just needed to re-iterate that the food and service was as I stated last visit - great.

That means they are still on track with consistency and food quality, as far as a pub meal is concerned. Remember it's NOT Marque IV. It's just a suburban pub.

But - it's good for what you want on a freezing Tuesday night in Hobart.

I DID notice they have a new menu, with slightly elevated prices though - and - shame, shame - the yummy profiteroles gone from the dessert menu! Now my reason for going out there has disappeared!

Those profiteroles kicked butt!

Oh well. Never mind. There are one or two more places I haven't yet eaten at. Watch out North Hobart. My office is moving that way at the end of the year and I'm looking forward to enjoying more North Hobart food.
