Yep - as the title suggests - Rita is moving on this one!
With the advice and assistance of Mr Nellie (son-in-law extraordinaire), we went online direct to the Dell site. I explained all the things I wanted my new laptop to do for me to Mr Nellie and he proceeded to move with ease through the many confusing laptop configurations and procure me a brand spanking new, whizzbang, all encompassing laptop which should perform all and more of what Rita needs for her upcoming website management!
My new laptop arrives next week, then I'll move slowly into the 21st century, computer-wise. My current computer is 8 years old, so a true dinosaur in computer terms. It crashes frequently and picks up every computer virus known to man.
So - along with my ritzy new laptop, I have some wonderfully interesting hospitality-related personalities lined up to chat to, of whom I am very fond, and who I hope you too will see what I appreciate in these people. These people will form part of the content of my website. It's getting quite exciting now.....

Hope it's not TOO flash, Rita...my electric typewriter (sorry computer) may not be able to receive it!
Hi Kzee - I'm with you! I hope I too can master the new laptop!
Sir G - it was really power and memory I needed, as well as a faster operation. I don't think it'll be too flash. I am deliberately not wanting too many moving bits (ie bells and whistles) on the site as I think that'll slow up the operation for those with computers like my current (old) one.
Now I can't be fairer than that, can I?
I need a bit of power and memory too, Rita...then there's the computer......
