Guest reviewer - Kelly - says....

Hey Rita! Thought I would let you know about an adventure I had into the world of great food, service, scenery and wine. Unfortunately it was in Adelaide, not Tassie. But, as a food buff I knew you would appreciate it. I travelled to Adelaide for a meeting this week and was fortunate enough to get the chance to eat out at cafĂ© Lago situated on War Memorial Drive, by the River Torrens – great scenery with the river reflecting all of the city lights and seated by the expansive windows overlooking the river and the leafy river beds. The service was fantastic with an attentive waiter, never ending glasses of red or white SA wines, bread (with lovely oil and balsamic) and water on arrival and continually refreshed. The food was simply beautiful – it was a set menu but the choices were fantastic. Now, my favourite is always the dessert and I am a bit of a connoisseur of sweets (you may not have noticed by my trim figure???) I chose the Panna Cotta – to die for… smooth with real vanilla bean and sweet balsamic berries served alongside – yum! I want to eat it all over again now.
See you soon,
K

I love walking along the Torrens in Adelaide and then going for a feed ...when it's about 24-27C it's magical.
I'll check this out next time, Kelly, ta.
