I know I'm repeating myself, but....

I have just 3 words for you today - Cornelian Bay Boathouse!

I eat there regularly, so apart from the first few times I've spoken about it here on the blog, haven't mentioned them again - till today.

Lunch there today was out of this world. Sublime.

Lamb Shank - described on the menu as Red Cooked Lamb Shank with brik pastry (that meant it came accompanied by a spring roll-type affair filled with tiny bits of shank and vermicelli noodles) and a coconut, coriander and ginger salad. It had a chilli caramel reduction with it that was absolutely to die for. $26

Dessert - equally gorgeous - Peanut Toffee Tart with Butterscotch sauce and house made chocolate truffles. $13

I gorged it all down in ecstacy!

David, Nick and crew - you rock! Thanks for everything you've done for me and helped me with this year, but mostly for that beautiful meal today. Not only have you impressed me, but also my interstate visitors, one of whom has left the island this afternoon clutching a Real Estate Guide - mostly on the strength of having lunched at your establishment!
