Not food, but love of life....

One of my friends has fallen in love. It's that TRUE kind of love that you read about or see in movies. The one where one stranger meets another stranger and they know with absolute certainty that as of that split second in time, they are totally in love, and possess a lifetime of knowledge of, and intimacy with, the internal workings of the other person's mind, body, emotions and spirit.

It fills me with awe, and admiration. It may be something that might occur more when you're young, but it can happen at any age.

I am overjoyed for her. "Long live love", as Lulu once sang.

It's Valentines Day this Thursday, Rita...so Cupid is poised with bow and sweet arrows to pierce aching hearts everywhere.
I hope the TV stations don't give us mush from Hugh the spew Grant.
I far prefer real love stories like:
man drinks beer.
woman eats chocolate.
Howard loves people.

Sir G - I don't have anyone to send me a Valentines Day wish so am hoping for the opposite to you - heaps of Hugh Grant on tele!
And who is Howard? I hope you don't mean John Howard?
