I know it's now not such a well kept secret at all, but I really need to say publicly here that the loss of yet another cafe down south is such a tragedy.
I spoke to Danni last week after being told that the word in Cygnet was that Divinge had been sold, as had another cafe down in that part of the world.
Danni confirmed for me that it was indeed so. Danni and Peter will be trading as currently for about another 5 weeks, then Divinge as we know it will close, and it'll be a well-earned holiday for them for a while. They will re-group, smell the roses and figure out where to from here.
This couple have made a worthwhile contribution to the food world in Cygnet, and I for one have felt privileged to have been able to recommend their food and service to anyone wanting to know where they should eat down that way.
I will definitely be eating there before they shut up shop, and hope a few of you will also pop in to wish them well.
That makes the following highly recommended venues on the Rita-ratings which have closed down recently:
Pecora
Seafood Demayne
Divinge
Lee - don't you pull the plug, or we'll be getting pretty light-on for choice! Yes, we still have Lotus Eaters, Peppermint Bay and a few others, but choice is good.

Sad about Divinge, I never managed to get in, I'm going to have to pull up my socks...I'm often too tardy and great places change or close before I get my act together.
