Nothing to do with food or eating, and I know he's nearly finished his term of office, but the email I received below seems to sum the man up.....
Herewith a selection of quotes from the man we are going to miss most:
"The vast majority of our imports come from outside the country."
"If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure."
"One word sums up probably the responsibility of any Governor, and that one word is 'to be prepared'."
"I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future."
"The future will be better tomorrow."
"We're going to have the best educated American people in the world."
"I stand by all the misstatements that I've made."
"We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a part of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a part of Europe ."
"Public speaking is very easy."
"A low voter turnout is an indication of fewer people going to the polls."
"We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur."
"For NASA, space is still a high priority.’
"Quite frankly, teachers are the only profession that teach our children."
"It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it."
"It's time for the human race to enter the solar system."

How about "... the trouble with the French is that they don't have a word for entrepreneur ..."?
Hi Colin Powell - yes, that one too was a great one!
Anon - I looked at that site. Not sure exactly which item I should have been looking at but read some interesting stuff there anyway.
Rita, you've gone political after just one piece of raw meat. Get back on the lentils and chill out!
You're right Sir G. That's it, I'm swearing off raw meat! But I can't promise to stick to the lentils.
I don't think history will record this guy too kindly. I think most people have their own theory on what the "W" stands for in the middle.
Cartouche
2 more -
"Is our children learning?"
"I dream of a world where people and fish can co-exist"
and - When asked on "The Howard Years" why he called John "the man of steel" - "It came from my extensive vocabulary" A hint of self awareness there, I hear you say? Naaaaah , I don't reckon so!
Should have been the man of steal
