A wise person dosn't blog about work related issues when they are employed by Gov.
in the past, when rita has felt that her opinion hasn't been well received, she has deleted comments of her own, and others. ( i am not referring to comments that are malicious or vulgar) it seems that the big difference between blogs and serious discussions, in media, is that censorship of contrasting views has no recourse. be a little braver rita. p.s. so you're from that side of the family barry.

I don't believe that serious discussions are limited to the media. The average punter is simply not able to have an immediate dialogue with printed media-their letters may be printed the next day but even thats after its been deemed suitable by an editor.
In this case Rita is the editor & if she feels that the subject matter might compromise her in any way, then surely she has the right to delete or not publish the post or the comments that may or may not stay on topic.
If you want serious discussion though cousin John, you'll be taken more seriously if you lead by example, stand up to your convictions & put your real name to your comments-there's your recourse
it's rita's ego that is compromised, not her position. aunt doris always said you were adopted barry.
