Drysdale Christmas shop 2012

YAY! The Drysdale Christmas shop is back again this year, bearing gifts of Xmas puddings, cakes, gingerbread houses and much much more. Bring your purses along and spend up BIG!

See how the students have progressed with their cooking and baking skills. Support them by buying their wonderful products, and save yourself a lot of time in the kitchen too.

I went, purchased and left happy ;)

They were super busy at the time I was there - selling loads of stuff, and a queue of 25+ people!

Seems to have gotten pricey though.

Hello Rita,

Is it us, or has the price of fish and chips at Mures just jumped?
Got a pocket shock at lunch in Kingston today.
Portions weren't bigger but prices seemed to be.
Quality was good, I will say.

Not just you Sir G - Latest price hike was near silent and hardly justifiable - Many places where I can get a better feed seafood wise for a more reasonable relative cost - Flathead, Blue Eye, Fish Frenzy etc

P.S Hope you are well Rita

Look forward to seeing Taste of tas ramblings on your blog :)

Well you guys must be a lot more affluent than poor pensioner Rita to be able to afford to eat at Mures!
Seriously, a tongue-in-cheek comment above from disrespectful Rita, but, no I hadn't noticed that as I have only been at Mures getting fresh seafood, not eating at the restaurant, either upstairs or downstairs (in town, which is my closest Mures).
In answer to your hope, Anon 7.42, I am feeling a lot better than I have for the past 2 years, and am hopeful I can move on (physically) from the world of illness in the new year.
I have been experimenting lately on the Wordpress site, the option of starting up a new blog. My wonderful blog administrator advised me recently that Wordpress was a way better site for blogging than Blogger (which is the site I have written this blog on for the past 6 years). I have called the new blog "Food glorious food" and have been having fun experimenting with the new site. There is still a lot of work to do on it, but I have written the first post there yesterday about Taste of Tas 2012.
