Summer dining

Hey everyone! Don't you just love it when you wake up to these magnificent Hobart mornings - all sun and blue skies and twittering birds and the promise of a beautiful day stretching out in front of you?

These are the days your mind should automatically extend instantly to thoughts along the lines of "Now where will I breakfast today?".

Pick a cafe, any cafe, and get your body there. Sample the delights they have to offer. Eat outside. Watch the world go by. Take that bloody iPod out of your ears and concentrate on life as it unfurls there in front of you.

No - I haven't taken my medication for the day yet! It's called 'appreciation of life' and what better way to meditate on the joys of being alive than eating? And what better way to eat than to have someone else cook it for you?

Forget the work problems, relationship issues, bill-paying questions for half an hour. Think about your quality of life while you breakfast somewhere.

It's great therapy, I promise you.

Good chirpy advice Rita.

I only needs a cuppa tea in the morning Rita. Rarely eat before Noon. Sundays, mabe 11.30 for eggs and bacon with toast.
So, I never breakfast unless I MUST at a hotel.
But I like your style, if I was an early bird I'd be the same.
What I need is a midnight supper club where I can eat persian chicken special with pilau rice, washed down with Lager (yes lager) and rounded off with a whisky.
My clock, she is broke. So often I'm broke too.

Gobbler - so polite to me! I KNOW you're busting to tell me to stop giving you the shits with this talk!

Anon - I envy you. I wish I could lay off the brekky thing but I never have been able to function without my brekky. Your midnight persian chicken sounds like my kind of lunch or dinner! But yummy anyway.

For once Rita I am being not only polite but sincere!
But you are right, stop all this medical induced syrupy talk & get back on track!
