Went to Solicit on for dinner on their opening night. It was so good we went back for lunch a few days later. Lunch was just as good.
Solicit, where Amulet used to be in North Hobart, is taking bookings for a special Christmas lunch ($95) and New Year’s Eve dinner ($110). 6234 8113.
We had THE best lunch ever at Solicit yesterday. John and Joan Mahindroo have really raised the bar. We had the Cressy Lamb salad ($22) with the most beautiful additions of Yarra Valley persian fetta, crispy lamb bacon and herb croutons. Every single morsel was stunning. We desserted on their version of pavlova, and a most gorgeous honeycomb semi freddo - I loved every mouthful of food I ate there and highly recommend a meal there.
