Rita would like to apologise to her readers for the lack of input lately on her blog site.
The past 8 weeks have been spent on a jury case, which involved a high level of legal information and court practices to be observed.
I hadn't anticipated my reactions following, particularly, the jury deliberation, and subsequent findings, not to mention sentencing.
As I have professed upfront on my profile on this blog site, I am an interested observer of my fellow man, and thus, also a concerned human being. My recent experience, and its affects on others, has affected me more than I could imagine.
I need to assimilate my recent experiences before I can resume life as I previously knew it.

Can relate to your reaction to the jury trial process, and as a recent convert to your blog, look forward to you resuming when you're ready!
Oh dear. I hope the trauma will be short-lived. I've never been called for jury duty, but don't envy you.

I thought it would be easy, and simply a matter of listening to the facts as presented by both sides, weighing them all up, discussing it as a group, coming to a conclusion, providing the conclusion to the court, then wandering off into the sunset to resume life.
As a thinking and feeling human, I found it not as easy as that, for me.
So - please bear with me while I 'ground' myself, and get back into the swing of life; start the Xmas preparations; experience a few new eating venues and blog about them.
Two months spent in a courtroom, and away from 'normal' life will take a bit of coming down. And my work will certainly be glad to see me back at my desk!
Rita dont let this get you down.
If it helps, I always go guilty, guilty, innocent, with those multiple choice questions! Does it make a difference I hear you ask? Maybe not, but does it anyway?

Rita - take the time you need - we aint going anywhere...however may I suggest you try some Cocoafarm chocolate from the oraganic store in north hobart if you need chocolate. Especially their Shiraz choc drops and their buttermilk chocolate.

Anon - sage advice. I'm getting there, slowly! A chance meeting with Domenic from Asian Restaurant in Blackmans Bay this afternoon cheered me immensely. He was very enthusiastic, and happy to meet me.

I'm feeling lots better, especially after a pleasant night out at Peacock Theatre watching a good play performed by a bunch of mega-talented young ones. Inspirational stuff.
