Have to say all Rita says about this place is true and more.
Four of us dined here on their mini Monday menu.
To say we were impressed is an understatement.
Maybe because I hadn’t heard too many good reports, I wasn’t expecting too much but all turned out wonderful.
This a fantastic spot view wise and the interior of a night looks like a fairy world, all twinkling lights.
Being all like minded people we wanted to taste as many dishes as we could so we all shared a bit of own choices which consisted of; THE most wonderful seafood chowder, oysters done two ways, warm ham hock salad,kangaroo with gorgeous noodles, steak with root vegies,a pumpkin fritatta with spinach risotto, panna cotta, and chocolate cake. Every dish was fantastic and you don’t often find that. We were all pleasantly full after this gorgeous meal. I must add the service was brilliant too.
I highly recommend The Boat House. We will definately be returning.
